I snapped this last picture (below) as the kiddies were busy getting their faces painted -- Stephen had wandered over to the railing and stared out onto the finished ballpark. It was such a 'goosebump moment' for me. Steph's childhood dream had become reality. Not only was he able to be involved in the building of a stadium, but he was able to play a part in building one for his very favorite Twins. I couldn't help but think how God had given Stephen this amazing opportuntiy for so many reasons, but one was to build his faith -- along with Target Field -- the faith for what can be done in the future. And now, since Steph's childhood dream has come true (wow!), it's onto much bigger things in Africa with God as the project manager.
As I looked through the lens of the camera, I felt an amazing peace (and tons of emotion!), as if God was saying, "Stephen... you've built a ballpark... you've built your dream. Now come and follow me... help me build Mine."
