Just a little Swazi shout-out for our team: GOOOO TWINS!
And... some notes/info on support...
We've had many contact us lately about being confused on the Children's Cup website when trying to support us in the journey -- specifically when partnering with us monthly.
At the present time, the Children's Cup website is only set up to accept one-time commitments by credit/debit card, and these donations are assessed a 2.5% processing fee (meaning that our family will receive 97.5% in the field, as oppposed to 100% if the gift is by check.). However, we have a support packet (by mail, email, or fax!) that outlines opportunities for monthly partnership. This can be set up easily through Children's Cup, automatically, through a checking account.
To update you: we are OVER half-way there (52.04% to be precise!) to being 100% fully-funded in our monthly budget. God is sooo good! We continue to be so amazed considering that we've been support-raising for just under five months. That is incredible!
Our monthly needs are great. Surprisingly, it is very expensive to call Swaziland 'home' -- to be safe, and to be able to sustain our family while in Africa. Did you know that groceries are 2-3 times more expensive than in the States, and gas is $5.00/gallon? Again, our needs are great, but our God is huge... AND of course great! :)
"If you will ask anything in My name, I will do it." -John 14:14
As we continue to support-raise, we're excited for opportunities to partner monthly with individuals and families. We are thankful for financial support at every level. If we commit to selling absolutely everything and taking just suitcases (and our kiddies, minus our bulldog... sigh) to Swaziland... will you consider partnering with our family to make a huge difference in the Kingdom of God and the lives of others?
If you're not receiving our newsletter, please let us know and we'll get you added on the list. If you'd like more information on how you can partner with us through Children's Cup, we'd be happy to get our support packet out to you. We're honored to be on this amazing journey and would love to share it with you.
Thanks so much... God Bless!
