God works in huge ways, and little bitty ways... all of His ways are amazing. How He continues to mold us, shape us, refine us is humbling. We continue to find on this journey that He plants little seeds so that, if we're obedient in His plans for our lives, He will grow us and help us to love where we're headed.
This morning I am making a meal for Steve and Kristen Macke, beautiful friends and proud new parents of sweet Adelynn Grace. We've been looking forward to tonight -- dropping by as a family and meeting beautiful Addie, so we've been talking about it all week. As I was putting together the meal, Ellie walked into the kitchen, asked to see what was in the pan (of course, as Boo is ruled by the world of cuisine!), and then looked up at me with her big innocent eyes and asked...
"Mom... what color of face does Addie have?"
God has sooo transformed her world that she has begun to see Swaziland in everything. Thank you, God... for Your grace, Your provision, and Your transformation within us.
Place Your Life Before God: "So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life -- your sleeping, eating, going-to-work and walking-around life - and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. you'll be changed from the inside out."Romans 12:1-2 (MSG)
