These little tips are from shrubs in our back yard... and those little guys measure almost five feet tall.

And, this is our view from the dining room sliding door out to the deck. The snow became wedged between the sliding door and screen. We now have ourselves a nice little snow sculpture, and we didn't need to go outside to make it.
And so, we're snowed in all day. We had planned to go to the LeJeune Christmas party (which is always awesome!), but with the heavy snow of 18+ inches, blizzard conditions and crazy below-zero wind chills, along with the lack of DOT plows on the roads, we decided to be safe and snuggle instead.
We're so thankful for the dumping.
