Wednesdays are art afternoons for the kiddies. From 2:30 to 5:00, they are able to get together with other students, including their MK (missionary kid) friends, enjoy a snack, learn theory, history, and create some masterpieces. Steph and I look forward to picking them up after lessons -- it's always incredible to see what they bring home. We're pretty blessed to have such an amazing teacher.
Last night they brought home charcoal, pastel, and paint creations of the Three Wise Men:
ILIEA
AVERY
ELLIE
(When I look at Ellie's, I see that her wise men had some Swazi influence and decided to wear colorful wraps as they made their way across the desert!)
If you ever have the opportunity to visit us in Swaziland (which you should most definitely consider!), you'll find that we continue to display the kiddies' artwork in their rooms. They have some pretty amazing galleries.
