Last Thursday, we went on a home visit at Mvutjini after we learned about a terrible situation. We found a homestead with no electricity, no running water... very common. Four children living with their mother in a one bedroom home. Their father has since passed away, so they are considered "single orphans." Mother has no income and is desperately searching for employment.
Thankfully, all children attend the Mvutjini CarePoint and receive one meal a day. Three of the four are in school, but there is no money for the oldest, Nobuhle, to attend Form 3 (grade 10). Nobuhle recently attended youth club at the CarePoint and prayed, out loud, for God to make a way for her to get back in school. We said we would do all we could, prayed for the family, and the wheels started spinning.
Yesterday I received a message from an individual who had visited Swaziland just months ago. Out of the blue, she asked how much it would cost to send a child to school, and if we had anyone in mind. Through the "God tug" on her heart, her amazing contribution and through Children's Cup's School Fees Assistance Program, we are believing that Nobuhle will be placed in school as soon as possible. Please JOIN us in prayer that there will be an opening for her in Form 3, as school began last month, and that the headmaster will be receptive to her beginning late.
Thank you!
Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
